Yes, was totally surprised how fast I lost weight.

I tried Atkins for a couple months. Every meal is a knife and fork meal, no fast food.
I did discover I could drink Miller lite.

Cut processed carbs. Eat veggies and (some) fruit.

Live in the real world (i.e. eat the fucking croutons on your salad the one time a week you go out for your dinner and don't sweat it).

I gotta get back into some kind of shape. Joined a gym and got 25 sessions with a personal trainer.
Did leg workouts last night. Walking funny today. Core exercises are making laughing painful. I've cut way down on carbs but I'm still eating some beans and small portions of potato along with fish and more veggies. Never was into sweets, snacks, soda pop or fast food so those things are easy to give up.

thanks for the insight everybody.

I think I'm gonna try to just cut carbs for dinner. I did it when I lived in Oregon (and was also running 3-5 miles a day) and was in the best shape of my life.

I'm already pretty skinny. Like maybe I'll loose 5 pounds incidentally, but I dunno if I have much more than that to loose. More likely yet, no real net change in weight, just replace some soft body with hard.

Basically I just wanna get conditioned for ski season so that Jessie Diggins will be my girlfriend.
