Meh, to each their own. I love BBQ sauce and will eat it on a pretty long list of foods. BBQ, cheddar cheese and some bacon on a burger and I am a happy man. Add in some sweet potato fries or some tater tots and a good beer or two and it's a good meal for sure.

Animals in order of tastiness
1. Bison
2. Deer
3. Cow
4. Lamb
5. Goat
6. Fish
7. Chicken
8. Turkey

Of course that's a generalization, the cut and quality and variety (esp w/fish) makes a difference.

Fuck, forgot duck.
Put that in as 3, ahead of cow.
Goose is ok too, I'd put that just ahead of chicken

Ooh, elk, forgot about that, used to pick up a pound of ground elk at Des Moines farmers market every week and make chili with it, absolutely delicious when not overcooked.

I retract my previous statement about red meat. I would eat the shit out of moose. It’s not a matter of cuisine though, it would be a personal vendetta, because fuck those fucks.

Fuck!

so my neighbors have these two wiener dogs.

out on a run I run into one neighbor walking one of the dogs.

They ask if I heard an animal commotion a couple nights ago. I dunno, I guess? The the neighbor dogs bark all the time, I don’t think much of it.

One of the dogs ran off into the dark barking at something, which ended with an abrupt YAP!

The dog never returned. The neighbor says it was the fox.

I hope it was only a fox.

There’s also the option of getting dogs that are actual dogs, rather than glorified guinea pigs.

I personally wouldn’t one unless big enough to at least hold its own against a coyote.

But yeah, I still feel for the neighbors, cuz they’re a hot mess about it.

Exactly. My neighbors on NextDoor freak out about coyote sightings daily. If you're in an area with coyotes, don't get coyote bait. Get a real dog.
