Those stats don't include their last game played. Against each other.

Coincidently, they both scored 0 points.

Example 943,743 why the NBA makes little to no sense to me. Here is a guy who is a "bubble" (meaning borderline) NBA player, plays 22 minutes in an NBA game, and puts up those stats.
Then you have guys such as Ben Simmons who are considered "elite" players who don't do much more than what Frank did last night.

Bledsoe was out but it shows he still has a place in the league.

I do think frank just needs an opportunity, although i didnt watch the game so i dont know how he did on defense or who he was getting those numbers against.

Bledsoe was out and i think giannis got ejected for head butting someone.

As far as simmons: i do think he is a top 20-30 player when he is healthy. Matchup nightmare. Triple double threat every night. And he is a really good defender and shot blocker.

But i get your point. I dont think there is a very big gap between frank and guys like fred van vleet or even someone like devonte. A lot is luck of finding a good fit and also having opportunity present itself at the right time.

Bledsoe out doesn't change what Gutter said though. Frank puts up numbers like that more often than not when he's given actual rotation minutes. His season averages just get skewed because he'll play 20 minutes one day, put up those numbers, sit a couple games, then play 6 minutes in a game. His "per 36 minutes" stats (15.5 pts, 4.5 reb, 6 ast) have been very good his entire career. The guy who was out has per 36s of 18.4, 5.2 and 6.3. And that includes being the guy in Phoenix for half of his career.

Not saying he is an all-star, or even a starter, but you are 1000% right that it proves he belongs in the league.

When you look at Mason's advanced stats, or traditional stats on a per minute basis, he looks like a very average NBA player. I mean that as a compliment in the sense he's been treated as a borderline NBA talent thus far and a borderline guy should by definition be below average, but he's played more like a really solid backup PG. And his numbers seem to be improving when you normalize for minutes played.
I only came to kick some ass...

Obviously, having watched his college career, we knew what he could do. And his rebounding numbers always suggested that he played bigger than his height, and had the physicality to compete.
