I'm no facebook expert, but I have unfollowed people. Not sure how that works with direct messages.
Last dood I unfollowed was this extremely religious dood who loved to share hate filled messages from franklin graham.

I'm going to figure a way to "block" her or at least stop getting messages from her without "unfriending" her. It's a fragile relationship because I am very good friends with her children and she is close with my mother. I don't want to upset anyone in the circle.

The "unfollow" action is what you need then. My cousin's religious zealot of a wife was unfollowed by me right after she posted a bit about Trump being sent to be God's soldier.

Sonic should eat the cost of it. That's part of doing business. When you run a restaurant there's a certain percentage of waste that is accounted for. They don't make employees pay for sliced tomato that's past it's time or when some asshole takes 35 napkins, why make an employee pay for a spill?

Honestly if that's theior policy, that's about as shitty as you can be and I'm not sure why anyone would continue to work there. Hell, if it's true, I might stop eating there.

Also, if that was a $12 order, the cost to Sonic is about $4. If they make that $12 order twice it cost them about 8 bucks, so they'd still be 4 dollars ahead. Making an employee pay for that would be just bullying the people who work for you.

I suppose a car hop would wanna weigh the cost of the potential occasionally dropped order, with the potential benefit of making more tips by being the car hop with roller skates.

But yeah, I’m also totally cool with a corporation being expected to eat those costs, rather than take it out of the pay of a low level staffer making 7 bucks an hour.
