Grandma's 5 Questions for 8/24/20

Post by Deleted User 289 »

1. Have you been to (seen) your Internist/"Primary Care" Doc since March 1st?

2. Do you own anything Colorado related? Such as a t-shirt, hat, coffee mug or cup, a piece of jewelry, souvenir?

3.The Price Is Right with Bob Barker (NOT Drew Carey).... Out of all the game shows you have seen, would you rate The Price Is Right with Bob Barker as being....
a) The best game show you have seen.
b) Top 25% of game shows you have seen.
c) Exactly average compared to all the other game shows you have seen.
d) Lower 75% of game shows you have seen.
e) Worst game show you have seen.
f) I have never seen the Price Is Right with Bob Barker.

4. For the rest of your life you must "hibernate" for a 30 consecutive day period. The same 30 day period EVERY year for the rest of your life. You are asleep for all of those 30 days. What 30 consecutive day period do you choose?

5. I have a terrible day ahead of me. Like every other of my 19,658 days that I have been alive, I assume I'll get through it.
On a scale of 0-100 (0 being the easiest day of your life and 100 being the most difficult day of your life) rate how difficult you think today will be for you.

1. No
2. Breck shirt
3. Top 25? I put Wheel, Millionaire, Jeopardy over it. There’s some shitty game shows out there.
4. Jan 3 to Feb 3. Miss the heart of KU B12 ball but still would get to see a lot of the important games...and miss the bitter cold.

1 - I see her all the time socially. And she's "seen" our family over texts/FaceTime a couple times, to get antibiotics written, things like that.

2 - Not as such, no. I have things we bought in Colorado?

3 - b. It was good!

4 - Probably the day after the Super Bowl + 29.

5 - 30? Would be much lower (easier), except it's one of the guppies' birthdays and I get the distinct pleasure of birthday gift assembly.

1. No
2. Shirts, hat, Camelback water bottle. I'm not a huge fan of Colorado either. Don't dislike Colorado but not one of my 5 favorite states.
3. Between b and c but I'll go with b.
4. Either the month of September, or December 1-30, or February 10th (after Super Bowl) to March 11th/12th/13th (Before Elite 8). I'll choose September.

I love Colorado.

And so do the people that live there. And they might love telling you about it even more than they love Colorado.

2. a couple shot glasses that were on sale at the store. I didn't really get them as Colorado souvenirs, so much as I just needed shot glasses and they were on sale.
3. e. The price is wrong, bitch.
4. I'll be a curmudgeon and say some 30 day period that gets Christmas and New Years out of the way.

1. Yes. Was fighting dizzy spells there for a while. Just plain hydration and rest really worked wonders.
2. Have some Colorado Rockies cups.
3. B. Top 25%. He was iconic and made the games fun.
4. Yeah mid-Feb to mid-March would be ideal. That is the worst stretch of the year.
5. 65. Fighting off a bitch of a cold right now. Played a 2 day tournament golf tournament this weekend in some small towns. So tired from that and this cold. Not a good combo, but I'll make it.

Wrong board, but my answer would have been different during the streak. I don't care much about the regular season anymore.

Yeah, me either. I just don't follow KU basketball or football as close as I used to when I was younger. 10 years ago, I wouldn't miss a KU basketball game, even if they were playing UMKC, but now, I'm like whatever, when the tourney begins, I get more into the games.

I changed my timeline just a touch considering the Super Bowl.

I like New Years enough so i'd like to be able to have a day or two after that and then put me to sleep til I wake up in early February and get to watch the Super Bowl a few days later.

And now I have most of February to watch KU's 2nd half of the B12 stretch.

KU regular season a much bigger consideration to me than the Subpar Bowl.

Not when I have a decent shot of seeing Patrick Mahomes become one of the best players to play the game year in year out in the Super Bowl and he plays for the Chiefs.
