Stuff like this makes me nervous.
Ditto.

I think it's pretty certain that Trump will have a massive lead November 3.

yeah, that may be a better question.

here's another question yet:

in the era of fake news, would Mericans be more likely to trust the credibility of Russian journalists, or of our own intelligence community?

With as many apps/sites collect detailed info from our phones/computers it isn't surprising to me at all. So many data breaches nowadays.

Probably compiling it for targeted disinformation campaings.

so, you’re insinuating that this is a state-sponsored “leak” of sorts?

i didn’t look closely at this particular story or source, but surely not all russian journalists work for the kremlin, right?

My assumption is it's a destabilizing effort.

Kind of what i thought...i still think it is true info being leaked, but it is probably being leaked for a reason.

Cynical take. He's trying to get as many people vote multiple times, doesn't matter what side, to try and claim the result are invalid.

The playbook is telegraphed. The in-person vote will likely be a narrow Trump loss. Then the remote results will reveal a historic landslide.

At some point through all this, foreign actors will be "caught" manipulating the remote voting process, setting up an attempt to discredit all remote votes.

It's right here in front of you.

That's not cynical, it's the only explanation. There is absolutely no reason to fill out and send a mail-in ballot if you are still going to go in person.

No less cynical, but another reason to urge this is to overwhelm polling place and discourage turnout because of long lines, confusion, etc.

It's all incredibly bad-faith, and should stain every single person in a position to speak out and avoid this, who does not.
