Former Missouru Senatro Claire McCaskill saying it plainly, anyone stupid enough to sit down for 18 recorded interviews with Bob Woodward less than a year before their reelection attempt who says the kind of things that Trump said is simply too stupid to have the job.

If he is so dumb that he didn't see what was happening then how can we expect him to not get roasted by any leader he sits down with?

I guess i just don't agree with that thinking.

My fascination with Fauci is due to exactly what you said....he is the ONE person on that task force who has/had an opinion i trusted.
Fauci isn't up for reelection. It doesn't matter if I like how he handled whatever he knew or not.

You just can't prattle away tapes.

Honestly, the stupidity of giving all these interviews, on tape and on the record, might be sufficient for the 25th.

It might be, but for the fact 2/5 of the population (AND THE LAWMAKERS THEY ELECTED) refuse to admit they made a mistake?

It is insane that the party won't condemn him. He has told you who he is, over and over and over. He will always act in his personal short-term interests. He will never act inconsistent with those interests.

Yeah, but there’s the problem. He’s such a good representative of the electoral majority who elected him.

It’s not just the president, but like 2/5 of the country, who will always act in their personal short term interests.

That is the bigger problem. Trump is just a symptom.

Trump genuinely believed that he was going to be able to sell Bob Woodward into writing what a success he has been. Reading now about how Trump would call Woodward directly late at night without his staff's knowledge is pure comedy gold.

And bragging about top secret military systems on record with a reporter?!? How can anyone possibly claim that he is fit to be Commander in Chief? If some White House or Pentagon aide made that exact comment on record to a reporter, that aide would be arrested and prosecuted.
