The trump people think biden has dementia. The biden people have 4 years of evidence that Trump is an awful president.

This all comes down to voter turnout in a few key states. Will the dems who don't always vote show up and vote? I think so. But if they don't there is a chance this nightmare will continue for 4 more years.
I saw an estimate that 9% of voters are undecided still. That's a good number of votes still up for grabs. Turnout will obviously be key but these town halls and debates matter to more people than you think.
Personally i think those 9% are lying because they are embarrassed that they are going to vote for trump... just like they did last time.

Normally i try to watch all of the town halls and debates. This time i won't watch any unless i am just bored and it is the best thing on.
Polls weren't off anywhere near 9%. National polls were spot on.

"How you feeling now Julie...."

🤣🤣🤣

The 1st 10 seconds of that video are both hilarious & awkard/cringeworthy all at once. He thought he would get a different response, but ended up coming off as kind of rude to her.

(Not sure what is going on the last 20seconds of the video...i am assuming that is fox being fox)

It's a well-informed, lucid, and moderate answer. Shows he knows his shit much better than Trump.

Sure. But his initial response to her is awkward/disrepectful.

Awkward yes. That's Biden's middle name.
Disrespectful - how so?

It is a degrading response. "How you feelin' now Julie?"....

Not a big deal, but she clearly doesn't appreciate his response, which is why she doesn't respond to him.

Oh well. His response is on point fwiw.

"hilarious & awkward/cringeworthy all at once".
"Sure. But his initial response to her is awkward/disrepectful".
"It is a degrading response".

Are YOU saying it's "degrading", "awkward", "disrespectful", "hilarious", and "cringeworthy" because YOU want it to be those things? I ask because then you said, it's "not a big deal" after making multiple posts regarding your feelings.
I admit my confusion, is/was it a big deal TO YOU - or not?

In other Joe Biden "news".....

”The story I’m about to share with you about Joe Biden is special — in fact, I’m fairly certain I’m the only living person left who actually witnessed it firsthand.
It was about 16 years ago, and I was a young rabbi, brand-new to Delaware, on my way to lead a shiva minyan — a worship service following the death of a Jewish person.
I was from California. Back then, I didn’t know Claymont, Delaware from Scranton, Pennsylvania.
A quick bit of background: When someone passes away in the Jewish faith, we observe seven days of mourning, called shiva. We gather a group of ten Jewish adults together — a minyan — to say the Mourners’ Kaddish.
It usually happens in a person’s home — somewhere intimate.

In this case, the deceased individual — her name was Mrs. Greenhouse, of blessed memory — had not been a person of means.
She had lived in rent-controlled senior housing in a tall high-rise building off of Namaans Road.
Her apartment had been too small to fit everyone into, so we conducted our worship service in the building’s communal laundry room, in the basement of the high-rise.

We assembled the ten elders together, and it was in this most humble of places that I began to lead the kaddish.
Toward the end of the service, a door at the back of the laundry room opened, and who walks in but Senator Joe Biden, his head lowered, all by himself.

I nearly dropped my prayer book in shock.

Senator Biden stood quietly in the back of the room for the duration of the service.

At the close of the kaddish, I walked over to him and asked the same question that must have been on everyone else’s mind: “Senator Biden — what are you doing here?”

And he said to me: “Listen, back in 1972, when I first ran for Senate, Mrs. Greenhouse gave $18 to my first campaign. Because that’s what she could afford. And every six years, when I’d run for reelection, she’d give another $18. She did it her whole life. I’m here to show my respect and gratitude.”

Now, the number 18 is significant in the Jewish faith — its numbers spell out the Hebrew word chai, as in “to life, to life, l’chayim!”
But it’s also a humble amount. Joe Biden knew that. And he respected that.

There were no news outlets at our service that day — no Jewish reporters or important dignitaries.
Just a few elderly mourners in a basement laundry room.
Joe Biden didn’t come to that service for political gain. He came to that service because he has character. He came to that service because he’s a mensch.

And if we need anything right now when it comes to the leadership of our country — we need a mensch.

I know this is such a simple, small story. But I tell it to as many people as will listen to me.

Because I think that, in their heart of hearts, when people are trying to think about the decision they’ll make this year — this is the kind of story that matters.

Joe Biden is a mensch. We need a mensch.

Thanks for reading.

Not a big deal to me personally, but the look on the ladies face and her non-response to his smartass comment say plenty about her feelings on his comment....so yes, i think it was all those things and still not a big deal to me personally.

Our current sitting president does as bad or worse on all levels to people/women on a daily basis. So even if Biden does/says his own fair share of dumb shit it will pale in comparison to our current asshole in chief.

Yup.

Just like all the other little shit people run here to post.

I am good criticizing both of them. I think Trump is an idiot. At times, albeit far fewer than Trump, i think Biden is an idiot.

The propensity for both of these men to do and say stupid things when off script in front of a microphone is astonishing at times. Again, Biden far fewer than Trump....but Trump isn't where I am setting the bar for acceptable behaviors becuase that is ridiculously low.

Trump has Vegas odds in his favor. Not a good sign for Biden.

Betting on politics is technically illegal. That said, for science, in 2018 I put $100 into an account, and got some really good odds, and turned that $100 into about $300 betting on politics. I won every "bet" minus a longshot Claire McCaskill that was like +350. Unfortunately, I did not read the fine print of how politics betting works, and I had to turn that money over several times on actual sports before I could cash out. Like I needed to make $1,000 worth of bets to be able to withdraw my money. And even then, it was like a $100 withdrawal fee. I ended up playing with that money for a few months, betting on NFL and CBBall, but eventually a bad beat on a KU game zeroed me out.

The point is that these illegal offshore books just want you to take enticing odds, but the bets are so limited, and you need to jump through hoops to be able to actually touch those winnings. I was enticed by +120 for the Dems to take control of Congress, but did not realize that it was a $25 max on that bet. Also, those who are likely to be Trump supporters online (goofy troll kids) would be the one to see Trump at +130 and jump on that.

Beyond the legitimacy of it as a whole is the legitimacy of the claim Trump is up there (Lobster's claim), which he isn't.

That article was from right after the convention. And as you say, they have Trump as the underdog now, with Biden -130. And as my previous link showed, ALL of the election gambling sites have Biden currently as the favorite.

I wasn't posting the article as a rebuttal. Just found it interesting.
