Dumbfuck in charge
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Yeah, just read between the lines. Anything refused to answer was basically confirmations.

In short, Trump directed Conley to share "good" information, and forbade him from sharing "bad" information.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
It's not really anyone's business in the public to know, just so long as he's not going out and risking others being infected. If Trump really has a serious problem with covid, it will be obvious within the next 2 weeks. No one, including Trump, can fake being well indefinitely.

The president's physical and mental capacity for office is indeed the American public's business.Walrus wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 3:25 pm It's not really anyone's business in the public to know, just so long as he's not going out and risking others being infected. Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Anybody know what it would cost us mere mortals to get the exact same treatments/hospital stay the Prez got over the last few days? $10k? $20k? $50k? More?
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Better question would be how many people who died would have survived if they were given the same treatments/care that the president received?
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Spent 29 hours in the hospital last month. My bill before insurance was $50k, and I saw 3-4 doctors for a total of less than an hour total between them. I'm guess we are racking up $50-100k a day.kubowler99 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 3:43 pm Anybody know what it would cost us mere mortals to get the exact same treatments/hospital stay the Prez got over the last few days? $10k? $20k? $50k? We do not have a legal right to know but it certainly is "our business", especially as we prepare to go to the ballot box.Walrus wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 3:25 pm It's not really anyone's business in the public to know, just so long as he's not going out and risking others being infected. I am not bothered about the particulars because as you said, the situation will play itself out over time and it makes no difference to who I am voting for. Frankly, Trump trying and failing to direct this situation is only making him look like more of a liar, which is fine by me.

If you don't want your medicals public, don't run for office. We should have better transparency laws for certain people so the people know the health of our leaders.

It is very interesting to watch the interpretation of this situation by each side.
Watching CNN you would think the sky is falling.
Watching Fox it is no big deal and he just had mild symptoms that he has recovered from.

He's on a steroid high. His doctors admit that there's still several days before you'd really expect severe symptoms to show up (if they will).
All this was, was declaring victory over a battle that's just beginning. Which is to say: exactly like everything else's he's done with the virus.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
I think the culprit will be he's not going to sit still. He's going to be walking around, trying to work, and leave the WH as much as possible. He needs bed rest and to relax to heal. He's going to make everything worse (in a different way than normal) by trying to do too much. Terrible idea.jfish26 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 4:03 pmUh huh.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 3:56 pm It is very interesting to watch the interpretation of this situation by each side.

In all seriousness, how soon before he holds another rally...where he actually rambles on for 60-75 minutes?
