What was the advantage of doing this before the end of the season?
Making sure KU grabbed him asap makes sense but what would have happened if KU waited until after Friday?

Good idea getting Miles this quick, a lot of teams are firing coaches right now. CU fired their coach this afternoon.

Speaking of...I was told that CU was extremely interested in getting Miles and felt like they had a real shot at getting him.

I was curious where Miles' salary ranked and was very surprised. This data is a year old and Riley has gotten a raise since but Miles isn't even in the top half of the Big 12 in salary.
