CEH came here expecting to be behind Williams so I doubt this is a problem for him at all.

He can be painlessly let go.

And he has to know that if he can't make it work in this offense, with these coaches, he's probably out of the league before turning 30.
Bell has about 40 million reason to make the next 12 weeks count. Top talent with the need to perform, and another toy for the perhaps the greatest QB talent maybe of all time, all for the ripe sum of *check notes* peanuts. He can be benched or deactivated at any time, a la Shady last year. This is the lowest of risk of deals.
Not that it matters because like you say there's no risk with this move, but the notion that Bell is some kind of locker room distraction is, at best, being completely oversold by some. He's not a disruption at all and a 5 minute look into his past spells that out.

I read that Bell is currently more than 2 years younger and more than 1000 carries less than Shady McCoy was at the same time that KC signed him. This is just the rich getting richer at essentially no cost. I'm jealous.
Agreed. I think the people playing the "locker room cancer" card are mostly fans scared of messing up what is going well right now.

I am glad those people aren't the GM of the Chiefs.

Dump Kirk and join the Chiefs bandwagon. No need to be stubborn.

Because the Jets are so poorly ran, pretty much any team could have picked Bell up and tossed him aside if needed.

But, that said, he's less of a risk for the Chiefs than he is, say, the Bills.

I'm there on the former, certainly not the latter. Mahomes and Reid are fun, though.

If I was the GM of the Chiefs we'd have DK Metcalf and Isiah Oliver right now instead of Mecole Hardman and Breeland Speaks.

But we'd also likely have Swift instead of CEH - jury out on that.

Of note, i'm 60% upset because I think we have the pieces without needing a chance at a me me kinda dude ( and i'm sorry, he's me me ). You don't give up on your teammates because you're upset that a contract that would make you the highest paid running back just wasn't quite high enough and then fly down to Miami and post on social media mocking your team.

I'm 40% upset because the league I lost Marlon Mack and Dak Prescott in, ( the same league that switches draft orders because execs want a better draft pick, or redoes the draft during the draft because people made mistakes etc etc etc forever ), I also invested my 8th pick on CEH, and now he has a chance of being bench material.

Romeo going for 2 up 7 on the road was the right call. OT was never a great option. Titans getting the ball first was certain death.

That'd be awesome.

I am guessing Tampa Bay or Green Bay vs the Chiefs.

Not a bad guess but I think you would be foolish not to also guess Seattle. Granted, they have had a pretty easy schedule so far.
I wouldn't count out the Cardinals, Rams or 49ers, either. Maybe not the Saints too.

So, as a Vikings fan and someone that does not watch college football, I have to ask your opinions on:

Trevor Lawrence
Justin Fields
Some guy at North Dakota
Some guy at Florida

Minny will end up winning 4 or 5 games which is 4 or 5 games more than the Jets.
I don't think they are in the Trevor Lawrence sweeps.

Capital is there to get to 1-1, if that's what it takes.

Might add some of the chiefs draft picks by next weekend.
