I'm rooting for the Dodgers but I have to give credit when credit is due. That was a phenomenal pitch by Anderson to end the 2nd. It was a great pitch before it too.
Will be interesting to see how long Anderson goes and if the Dodgers can/will score off of him.

I'm a single-issue rooter: Kershaw.

According to DraftKings the Dodgers are -200 Rays are +160 to win the WS.
I expect the Dodgers to win in 5 or 6.
Stay tuned.

Best of luck to your Dodgers. But Rays are my team.

I commend the Dodgers for spending their money. What an embarrassment of riches, though. Pinch hitters hitting 500 foot bombs.

Am fine with either team winning. Would be pretty cool to see Mookie turn into a more household name.

Best 2 teams all year. This is what baseball needs. A small market team against a mega spending team, but both teams were the best in their respective divisions and leagues.

This season is anecdotal evidence of what I've thought about baseball for awhile now:

1. We don't need 162 games.

2. We don't need to expand playoffs.

3. We need DH's in both leagues.

Should be 80 games.

And yes, fully agree on DH in both leagues. Tired of antiquated baseball stuff.

1. Yes - 120ish for me

2. No - expand to 12 teams

3. Yes

I'm good with 162. If there's compelling evidence that fewer games (say, regular Thursday off days) would keep guys healthier, I'm ok dialing the regular season back some. But the best thing about baseball is the ubiquity.

I would prefer to stay at eight playoff teams, but have longer series (with no or minimal off days).

While I'm not a fan of how many teams are in this postseason, I do like that (as a pleasant change) the postseason format now rewards actual team-building.

Yes on universal DH.

(Also yes on robot strike zone. Maybe yes on moving the mound back a foot or two.)

I like the mandatory off days on Thursday but I like reading box scores with breakfast on summer days.

Haven’t seen a World Series play that crazy since Allen Craig fell down in 2013.

It's going to be funny if Royals legend Brett Phillips screws up Kershaw's chance here.

Will that play at the plate end up becoming Bill Buckner part duex? Of course the one in 1986 was in Game 6 for the win, but this one was only going to make it 3-1. In any case it’s essentially a routine play under any other circumstance.
