I wasn't trying to come at you rudely.Grandma wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 2:13 pm"Unfortunately", I guess I need to defend myself and make it clear I wasn't speaking about myself when I used the word - and I was pointing out the sickness that is too prevalent in this country.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 1:59 pmUnfortunately the only 1 saying the n-word was you. That is simply not acceptable under any circumstances. Not sarcasm. Not comedy. Not anything. White people simply CAN'T say that word and think it is ok.
I agree 100% that the word is unacceptable when used in it's typically derogatory manner.
I can say the word regardless if I think it's ok or not. You can too. I don't think the word is "ok" in the context most people use it. That was pretty much the point of my post.
As far as my comment/s including the state of Michigan, EVERY state in this country has racist people living and working in them.
It just so happens that MICH lives in a state where there is a large proportion of white supremacist "groups". He may be the least racist person on the planet but I have a strong feeling he knows, is friends with, or even has family members who I define as pieces of shit due to their asinine beliefs.
That's all. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
I think I have gone into depth about how regardless of context that word shouldn't be used by white people.
I won't lecture you. It won't make any difference anyway. But don't stoop to that level. I think you are better than that.
