Dogs
Dogs
Are better than humans.
My 12 year old Golden Retriever had a grand mal seizure today. . Hes lost a bunch of weight in the last couple months too. I fear hard days await. Hes easily the best dog ive ever had. Im gonna need a couple buckets of buckskins sometime down the road.

Re: Dogs
Really sorry to hear that.
We thought we were going to have to put ours down a couple months ago; first time I have cried since, I don't know, don't remember. Prednisone turned out to be a life saver. Hopefully you guys can figure out what's wrong and have a similar result.

That’s the worst. Keep the great memories at the top of your mind.TDub wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2020 8:12 pm Are better than humans.

Re: Dogs
Sorry to hear that TDub, it gets easier over time, but it sucks. You're right, dogs are the best. When I had to put my first boxer down, Bandit, due to lymphoma, I cried buckets. I spent an hour with him at the vet laying next to him and sang and hummed Amazing Grace to him and told him how much I loved him....man, now I'm starting to tear up.
Hang in there. My boxer, Magnum, just turned 8 and he still acts like a pup, but I know I probably only have 4-6 years left with him.
