Maybe I’m just a bad guy but if I was KU with a clearly hobbled Spencer I would have blitzed him on every play. A gap pressure and make him get out or step up in the pocket. What does KU do? They rush four and don’t even get close to him. This staff drives me insane.

I understand that the OU front is elite but holy smokes both the center and guard got blown back. That was pathetic technique and effort.

I know that Les has done a lot behind the scenes to make this program some what respectable but I really question if it is all there on game day. He just kind shuffles around and looks puzzled half the time. Of course KU couldn't find anyone else for a HC but the luster of Les is starting to wear off....rapidly.

So does watching him make you think that he would rather be somewhere else?

I just get the feeling this is way more than he thought it was going to be. I see zero fire or emotion from him both in his pressers and on the field. We all despised Beaty because of his junior high clock management and not having his team prepared but right now I don’t see much improvement from that. The difference is we all have to hope his recruiting and behind the scenes work is going to pay off.

Fuck 'im. What did he really think he could and would do at KU? There is a decent chance he will leave KU in ALMOST just as bad shape as he found it.
Unfortunately I'm confident NO ONE can save the program.
Do people think if Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney, or Urban Meyer came to KU they would completely turn things around? I don't. It's fucking Kansas.
Sure they could and probably would improve the program but it would still be mediocre - at best.

Here we are. Again. If last week was one step ahead then this week is a mile back. Pathetic effort once again by the offense. Stupidity is defined by doing the same thing over and over again and that defines the putrid offensive line play. How Meadows still has a job is beyond me. If that is the best that KU can offer then we might as well just forfeit every snap on offense. Inexcusable how a group of upper class men can be that bad week after week. KU, will once again set a wrong record for most sacks allowed per snaps in the last 10 years. When will enough be enough.
