Pelosi is what you get with razor thin majorities. She has been about as effective as she can be under the circumstances. Put a true progressive in power, nothing gets done right now. America wants consensus, not necessarily what science or self-interest would dictate. And so we get the gradualism that may undo the planet's health. At least it is graduating the right direction now.
