I don't know if it's the best fish to filet. With the second row of little tiny rib bones, I think you're better off cooking whole then picking apart.

and at least when pan frying, it's hard to get the breading to golden brown without also overcooking the meat.

I think imma try smoking them. The bears should be hibernating by now.

Full disclosure, the only trout I've cooked were pre-boned and butterflied with the head on so you're on your own cleaning them.

We sautéed them in a pan. If you're cooking whole, you could but a bunch of seasoning, lemon, onion, garlic butter/olive oil in a foil pouch and bake.

There are nuances that cant be grasped from an article. Not that you would ever take the time to actually understand that but, worth the fdoet to mention it. Science and real worls experience and application are the best path.

In my industry architects and engineers believe if they can draw it then it must work. The best architects and engineers spent time working in the field before designing. They better understand the real life scenarios that impact their design.

I understand this is controversial and...we ought to tread lightly. But, something should be done at some point...the natives controlled vegetation through purposeful burns and other similar methods and had success.

Damn. I had no fewer than 3 deer come no further than 3 feet from the front end of my truck tonight. Like, oh shit there’s another deer again better lock it up again. One was a trophy buck.

Sunday morning my wife and I headed to breakfast in Monte Vista around 7:30. There was no traffic and about a block from the center of town, 30 yards in front of us, we saw a buck deer (elk?) casually saunter across highway 285 like it was heading home from partying all night. I don't know how the rack point system works but this one had a huge tree growing out of his head.
