I have a "facebook friend" who I knew back in high school. He is my canary in the fever swamp, I don't interact with him since I determined that he is hopelessly bought into the cult. But I continue to read the high/low points of his facebook posts. No matter how many times you point out, and then provide documents to prove the falsehoods in his posts, his final word is usually, "well it sounded true and even if it isn't there is other stuff that is so I will stick with this falsehood as well." He is the epitome of a fact resistant cult member.

A couple of weeks ago he announced his leaving of facebook and it's constant adding of fact checks to his posts. He was going to join Parler, the land of the free and the patriotic! That lasted about two weeks and now he is back on facebook with a vengeance posting 5-10 times a day something from Dan Bonkersgino or OAN. He is running out of road. It will be interesting to see the direction he takes when it sets in that trump is not the president. As a study in aberrant human behavior they are kind of interesting.
