Seriously though, why is that place such a mess compared to hundreds of bases across the world? Why just them? It's bizarre.

it’s not just them, but they do seem to be one of the worst

the report that came out basically says that it’s highly likely similar behaviors could be uncovered at other facilities/installations

I guess my point is not the behavior, but the murders, mass shootings and mysteries among other things. I get the hazing, bullying and all that, but things like that don't happen elsewhere to that extent it seems.

you may be right, that there is something especially wrong there

but, i’d imagine that if all the curtains were to be pulled back, we’d see that the entire military complex is rife with a lack of integrity and oversight when it comes to “professional” behavior at nearly all levels. when that behavior is demonstrated by those who are supposed to be investigating, counseling and policing our enlisted men and women, you can have situations like Ft. Hood

“the mission” above all else
