I think there is some truth in this.

I’m fully convinced this teams only competition is themselves.

After today, yeah--Chiefs just have to keep their head in the game. That 3rd interception was unreal athleticism, but this game should have been 55-14 or so. Tua was extremely lucky he wasn't picked several more times.

Travis Kelce is a likely HOF TE. If he ends up leading the league in receiving yards, he’ll be a HOF lock imo.

Kelce is already 10th all time in receiving yards for a TE. After next season he'll probably be 5th. Unless he quits after this season, he's almost a lock for the HOF.

Chiefs can afford to go 2-1 as long as the 1 loss is against either Saints or Falcons. But they have to beat the Chargers.

Of course, that's all if Pittsburgh doesn't lose a game this year. But I think they lose 1 or 2 more. Still have Indy and Cleveland.

I take it back, earlier this year I didn't think the first week bye matter as much with a shorter season. With all of the injuries on every team, it may matter more this year. And now that the Chiefs are in the driver's seat for that, I am all for it. That's the kind of fan I am.

Chiefs with a 92% chance to have the 1 seed.

I think he could hang up his cleats today and walk barefoot into Canton.

Chiefs have a low-key Packers QB thing going on, spending 25+ years of barely-uninterrupted HoF level TEs.

Herbert has had some tough outings - and playing in KC in December, I think the Chiefs take that one.
And LAC just took out Atlanta - so i'd say the same thing.

New Orleans still could be tough - issue is, even if they get Brees back, is he fully healthy?

The only hesitation I have with the Saints game is that they just got humiliated by a bad Eagles team. They are going to come out ready to play and they want to prove they are still good.

Still think Chiefs win because they'll rise to the challenge, like they always do. But the Chiefs are in prime position hence the 92% chance to get that bye.

New Orleans is interesting. Do you go in generic or show the cards. Late match-up so cards probably aren’t unplayed anyway

I think you probably fire a couple bullets to try to get out front. New Orleans without Brees is ill-suited to stay in a game from behind.

Best part of last night. Bills attacked Steven Nelson. Who for some reason was matched up against Diggs all night. Diggs responded by having 10 catches on 14 targets for 130 yards.

Nelson is a former Chief. So by playing for Pittsburgh, he still helped the Chiefs.

Some of the 'hold stuff close to the vest' talk is a bit overrated. On every single play there will be a one on one match up and either you win that or you don't. That comes whether you have scouted a team or not. I trust that AR has enough fire power to potentially beat NO twice.

I have a feeling the Chargers game will go the same way as it went last year. Divisional opponent who always tends to play the Chiefs tough but it is a must win. That first round bye gives you one less game that something bad could happen.

Steven Nelson was trash here and he is still trash for Pittsburgh. That being said Diggs is one hell of a WR.

I was surprised at Pittsburgh’s lack of speed. Playing the short routes very necessary. Big Ben hasn’t been sacked much because he bails. Bills exposed them last night.

Big Ben is joining the likes of Rivers, Brady, and Brees. The gradual decline of their ability to play QB at the highest level.

The biggest problem with Pittsburgh is that they can't run and they can't throw deep. Teams just sit in that intermediate zone and have done that the last 3 games with success. 19, 17, 15 points in the last 3 games. That's borderline bad.

Their most successful plays are when they go empty and they do a quick screen to a WR or TE. Claypool is a nice weapon deep, but Ben can't throw it deep, JuJu is a good intermediate guy, but he's covered all over the place with teams playing short.

They also get after the QB, but they haven't done that in a few games now.
