Wife got vaccine about 30 minutes ago. She's now acting verrrrrryyyyyyy strange. I think she'll be a werewolf by midnight.

I kid.

Do you smell of cabbage?

Have you become a carny?

These are important questions to address before I get the shot, that's for sure.

Nothing outside of my hands shrinking, but I've already gotten notification that she's been under surveillance and tracked by the government.

See, it's that "I AM Legend" angle that kinda makes me nervous about this vaccine rollout.
I mean, it would be kinda cool to be Robert Neville during the day......

Yeah in all seriousness my wife is feeling fine so far. Granted she took it just a few hours ago but nothing there as of yet. She is documenting a bit of that on her Facebook I guess to help educate people on what she is feeling.

How’s the recently vaccinated folks doing?

Did it really come with a microchip?

Or U2’s new album?

Great thread.

You know what would be an excellent use of about $50mm? The Gates Foundation or someone buying an entire Super Bowl commercial break and doing a "get vaccinated" Schoolhouse Rock.

That is a good idea.

I wonder if it might backfire though, particularly if the messaging came explicitly from the Gates Foundation...

Fine, perhaps not the right source. The point is that nothing else in American...media? society?...would have the reach of the Super Bowl. Particularly as to low-information people (not meant as a pejorative).

I totally agree on all the points.

But yeah, it just sucks that one of the biggest obstacles facing vaccination efforts during a fucking pandemic, is unfounded conspiracy paranoia.
