The local paper editors altered the caption to read,"Members of ANTIFA dressed as supporters of President Donald Trump climb the west wall of the US capitol on Wednesday in Washington."

On a practical level, what effect would spraying the door have had on the crowd? As many magas as there were, it sounds like they weren’t super heavily armed, at least.

It’s kind of morbid, but we’ve seen cops unholster and start spraying for much, much less.

How would secret service or the military or some other force have handled it?

Maybe that’s the most damning thing about it - think of all the police brutality vids we’ve seen. If someone came to you and said “look at this latest footage, of cops just standing there like idiots,” how surprising would that be?
