Man forgot about Burrow. Another AFC QB.

AFC QBs are going to be stacked for the next decade.

Yes, add Burrow to the Tua/Hurts/Mayfield list. Murray, Lawrence and even Herbert in there too. Feel like they are all in the "maybe/probably" category.

From what I understand, there are also 5ish QB's worthy of a 1st round grade this year. 2 or 3 worthy of #1 overall in many drafts. Of course, some of them will end up being Trubisky.

If you're the Texans, would you take the Jets 2021's 2nd and 21st overall, 2022's 1st and 2nd rounders, and Sam Darnold for Watson?

Absolutely I would do that even though that is a huge ask for one player albeit a very special one player.

I would look at it if you take Darnold out of the package and add in new chairs for the conference room.

Stafford is looking like going to be traded by Detroit. Always thought he was a good QB on a terrible team. One #1 pick for him and he has two years left at around 22 million per. Saints maybe the Colts jump on him quick.

Oh my god he’d be electric with the Colts.

Have to figure the Colts would be the best landing spot for him.
He's going to be 33 next month but I would still love to see him on the Bears - even though it looks like the Bears are going to lose Robinson.

Bears may have totally screwed up that ARob situation.

Bears probably have totally screwed up that 12-4 team.
I agree about the ARob situation. The one saving grace is that I don't think he is worth 14 million when there are guys such as JuJu that you can probably get for a LOT less money to replace him.
Losing Cordarrelle Patterson will hurt the Bears too.

Lions trade Matthew Stafford to Rams for Jared Goff, two first-round picks and one third round pick
Didn't see that one. Thought the rams gave up two first rounders for Jags Ramsey

Costs a lot to dump Goff’s contract.

Rams can’t build through the draft but they got their QB at a cap comfy price.

Detroit will try to rebuild Goff but if he’s really bad, that’ll just give em a higher draft pick.

I read somewhere that Goff was not the future in L.A. but also read just one #1 pick for Stafford so the other picks are to take Goff off our hands. Those #1's are the next two years cause last year and this year the rams already traded. They are also like 35 million over next years cap. The last Rams 1st round pick was in 2016 which was Goff. There next is in 2024.

Goff's contract only has 2 guaranteed years left at 25.5M and 25M.

While he's not worth that money, that's not a complete disaster.

Right.
If you're the Lions, and you know you can't win for two years, you take on that contract, expect to loose that first year, draft a QB and figure out if you want to start him right away or ease him in behind a year of Goff.

Draft a QB with what will probably be a LATE first round pick. Meaning "settling" for the best available.
Who are they going to get Jalon Daniels?
I believe the Lions traded for Goff to keep him. They have a solid TE but they better focus on getting some "elite" WRs before they focus on getting another QB.

"Expect to loose that first year" - i.e. be in line for a top 5 pick for 2022 with their own draft pick ( not the extra one they get from the Rams ).
