SB Eats
SB Eats
What's everyone making?
I would love to do a brisket but that ain't gonna happen with just Mrs 99 and I, and she hates football.
May do ribs. Or I've got a corned beef brisket piece in the freezer that I could smoke.
Or a bunch of apps like ABTs, deviled eggs, Korean grilled chicken gizzards, smoked wings, the obligatory guacamole.
I dunno, but I gotta get it figured out.

I'd say party at 99's but, you know.
The couple that we've watched the game with for the last 5 years is dipping out.
They always make a nacho buffet - so the blowup doll and I will mimic that - plus our staples - pigs n a blanket, spinach dip - and we'll make a baked mac n cheese.

For the AFC Championship, I just cooked a bunch of chicken (1/2 breasts 1/2 boneless thighs) sous vide. Homemade dry rub before the bath, Jack Stack original sauce after. For pulled chicken sliders on King's Hawaiian savory butter rolls.jhawks99 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 7:20 am What's everyone making?

Re: SB Eats
Wife and I just killed two Costco sized batches of Hawaiian rolls. Zero shame.
Smoked wings and lil smokies so far. Wife is ordering Chiefs sugar cookies from a local bakery, Best Regards Bakery & Cafe. We had them for the AFC Championship game. DELICIOUS. Ate a dozen of them and also had zero shame.

"wife wants lil smokies"
There's a joke in there but I won't be the one to make it.

Re: SB Eats
The idioms or whatever sort of contradict, don't they?
Re: SB Eats
Making? Probably nothing.
Ordering? Probably from Salerno's. If so.......
PIZZZA (bacon, onion, garlic, extra sauce), BURGER (NO cheese, with ketchup, onion, pickle), VESUVIO POTATOES (no peas), ONION RINGS, GARLIC BREAD.
Last year I ate outside from food trucks in the P&L on a beautiful 60+ degree/s sunny day.
This year I will be eating inside from a restaurant on a gloomy 4 degree (for a HIGH) cloudy day.
Hopefully I get the same game outcome this year as I did last year.
