Same.
No one probably cares because I don't post here, like at all, but I completely agree with this. Seems this was done few times early in the 2nd half against WV and it was working.
i care

Maybe think about bringing Dave off the bench? His starts are so often horrid.

He needs his pace, rhythm, and balance--once he gets those going, he's really good for us.

Hard to get pace, rhythm, and balance from the bench.

Not if the guy has the right attitude about it.

The first four minutes of almost every game Dave shits the bed. Fuck it. Start Tristan instead.

There are plenty of players that would disagree. Some really good players like to come off the bench and to get a feel for the game by watching first.

Regardless, the point here is the bad starts have to stop. They have been a huge part of the struggles the last month.

Self would never do it.

I do think that when Dave goes to the bench we should be mostly playing 5 guards. Way too much Mitch lately...

I wonder if we can play Mitch without making Mitch the focal point of the offense?

So I think someone misinterpreted that stat, but I think they've maybe played the most..? And all their losses were Quadrant One teams. Maybe that's what the person tried to convey.

Right now in NET, Kansas is 22nd. Right around the 5-6 seed range.

It's a Rorschach Test, man. You can see anything you want. A team with lots of quality wins. And a team with lots of noncompetitive losses.

Unfortunately, the most rational interpretation is that there's a very firm ceiling.

That's a fair point.

The maddening thing is that this team is 20 games in and still playing like a team that's only been together for 3-4 games. They have some flashes, but overall they don't seem to have any chemistry. Certainly not the type of chemistry you normally see from a KU team - duh. Obviously that starts with the point guard. Guard play has been so bad. They can't protect the ball.

Love me some Garrett, but you can't ask a guy who was groomed to be a 2 and one of the best defensive specialists in the country to all of a sudden be another Frank Mason in 20 games.

Still. I see 18 wins, a 6-seed in the tournament and one postseason win.

Well there’s no question this team’s best ball was pre-Xmas, but I also wonder if this is not a statement about the rest of CBB sans Zags/Baylor.

This team doesn’t strike me as very good, but it is capable.

I think it's in a group of maybe 10-12 teams that, if not in Gonzaga or Baylor's bracket, all have decent shots at the FInal Four.

And of course, yet again, Gonzaga will go months without being battle tested.

3-7 vs Q1. I don’t think OSU was a Q1 win last night.

They weren't. Q1 is considered 1-30 when you are playing at home. 1-40 on Neutral and 1-75 on the road, I think.
