RIP. He seemed like a good guy. Always liked his 90's Chiefs teams.

Marty Ball was my first era of Chiefs Football.
“I don’t remember anything he said, but it was a very memorable speech.” Julian Wright on a speech Michael Jordan gave to a group he was in

"But don’t ever get it twisted, it’s Rock Chalk forever." MG

Will always remember the 13-3 team and the tough decision to go back to Grbac, only to loose in a close one to Elway, the eventual champs.

Andre Rison.
Derrick Thomas.
Marcus Allen.
A young Tony G.

Same. I can vividly remember balling my eyes out when the Chiefs lost to the Harbaugh Colts. A damn shame Marty never got a chance to win it all. Guy who coached with so much passion but was just never able to make it over the hump.

RIP, Marty.

The days of smashmouth football, Christian Okoye, and a devastating defense.

He was a great coach. If only he had gotten better post-Lowery kickers.
