Even the vaccine is not going to help much. It will only protect you against the older strains. It will be as valuable as the flu vaccine, which isn't all the protective. Because America is not a collective society like China, the only solution is to re-open and let things happen. The current lockdown is pointless because it's not a real lockdown. The only thing it will succeed in is transferring more wealth to the elites (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) and destroy your local business.

That's not true.

Only the astra zeneca vaccine showed decreased efficacy to the mutant strains. Even then, it has a 60% reduction in cases and 95% reduction in fatalities. And that's a vaccine that hasn't even gotten US approval yet.

Not sure what your motivation is to spread false information about vaccines....but not getting vaccinated only increases the number of opportunities for the virus to mutate.

And even if you need to get an improved vaccine down the line, so what? It sure beats the restrictions we've been dealing with.

Vacvines eradicated smallpox and forms of polio. They made a number of infectious diseases into nbd. It will eventually have the same impact on covid19. The mutation rate in coronaviruses is significantly lower than influenza.

You're comparing apples to oranges. These newer vaccines are "questionable" to say the least in their safety. People have died from the new covid vaccines. More importantly, covid is not as dangerous as other diseases of the past. Hell, the originally flu was far worse, and you don't need a vaccine for the flu. It's not a big deal for most of us.
