Mrs 99 bought a Ninja Foodi. Stoopid name, works pretty well. Did wings for the game. Not as crispy as fried but good enough and the mess was minimal.
Chuck roast in now.
Used the new ninja foodi pressure cooker/air fryer thingamabob we got for xmas for the first time tonight. Peppercini ranch roast. Pretty damn fantastic, and only 90 minutes. I imagine we'll be using that thing frequently. Anybody got any recipes or tips?
I have an Instant Pot pressure cooker and use it mostly for beans. It's great for stocks as well. I also use it to soften dried chile pods to grind up and make chile paste.
The Ninja foodie makes pretty good fried chicken, and wings. I coat in a 50-50 mixture of flour and corn starch, then spray with PAM and air fry.
It does pretty good at potatoe wedges. Slice bakers into wedges, toss in olive oil, paprika, salt, and whatever you like. I usually make an aioli for dipping.
Makes a pretty good burger too.
