Not the DC but Les Miles has hired Chevis Jackson as the team's new DBs coach.

Played for Miles at LSU and has been an assistant at South Alabama, LSU, Ball State.

Good hire. Named best recruiter in MAC. Good player for LSU. Still worked his way up by starting as GA and then making his way up.

Nope. He was an interim coach. Bowling Green just hired an OC from Boston College. Pelini was the DC at BG and then took over when Coach was fired. He’s basically free game

Rumor is Chip Lindsey the OC at Auburn is close to a deal to be OC at Kansas.

Previous OC at Southern Miss at Arizona State. Went to Auburn but word is Malzahn is a micromanager and wants the final call on offense and I don’t think Chip liked that. He just reportedly interviewed at Tennessee a few days ago before Tennessee hired High Freeze.

I’d be alright with that.

Lindsey is kind of a guy who can coach up QBs. And Bryant likes him as Auburn is the front runner for him.

I think he announces tomorrow, so this needs to happen quick.

This is another homerun hire. We are getting an OC from an SEC Powerhouse... A great offensive mind and also a solid recruiter in his own right. Love this.

Lindsey wasn't initially on anyone's radar but reading more about him I like the hire. As long as he can do some instant 'crooting it sounds like a great hire. I saw Fedora mentioned on previous pages but I have a feeling he is holding out for a HC job.

Lindsey is getting forced out of Auburn. Hugh Freeze had not been hired as of yet by anyone. Bryant is not going to KU.

Yeah. He’s likely going to Arkansas. Reunited with the guy who recruited him, Chad Morris.
