Two hours elapsed between Germany and Chicago is perfectly reasonable. It’s about 8 hours in the air and a 7-hour time difference. It leaves there at 8 am, which is 1 am in Chicago. Arrives 8 hours later at 9 am. All time stamps in the tracking are local times

Excellent point!
Not sure why (other than I am an idiot) but I think I must have been assuming the "military" times were GMT based and not "local" times.

Yuck.

Growing up in kansas i never developed the taste for seafood. Especially invertebrates. Even when i spent 15 years on the coast i could never do it. Salmon, halibut, trout, catfish i can do....dont like but will eat...a very rare fresh crab in butter. Thats it.

Go to New Haven.
Get a white pizza ( with tiny clams ) from Frank Pepe or Sally’s.

I MUCH prefer a regular slice with red sauce but I had doubts too—and it was good.
