I hope we don't let Trump become the new norm of what is acceptable. Cuomo needs to be removed from office because this appears to be a consistent behavior for him based on the information I have seen so far. And his "I am sorry that you are offended by it" is to me a clear red flag that he doesn't see it as a problem at all.

I would rather the unfortunate collateral damage of running people like this out of power be a few men who acted mildly inappropriate instead of it continuing to be the litany of women whose allegations against such men have been swept under the rug. Yes, in hindsight, Franken could have taken a less severe course of action but that was his choice and he has to deal with the consequences of his actions and decisions.

But that's the (evil) genius behind the whole anti-cancel-culture thing (anticc? anticacu? anticacu.). If you demonize any sort of enforcement of norms (which is what's happening), you're effectively consequence-free until you've at the very least broken the law.
