"Kansas wins at least their next 3 games, they are a 2 seed."

I think that depends on the teams above us.
If Illinois, Iowa and Michigan go far ( semis ) of their tournament, they could all ( Michigan regardless ) likely finish higher than Kansas.

What if Bama wins out and wins the SEC?
Nova could possibly also jump us by winning out.
Same with WVU - they beat Baylor then beat us in the semis?

I am on bored with winning next 2 games, and very much locking a low 3.

By winning the next 3, they would have beaten 2 top 15 teams and would likely have a rubber match with Baylor and if they lose close, they are a definite 2.

KU would be close to having the lead in amount of Q1 wins and Q1 games. That shit matters. KUs first game in Big 12 will be against OU as it stands now while Iowa will play Northwestern or some shit.

Big 10 is really good 1-4 and OK in spots 5-7.

Big 12 is really good spots 1-7. That's the difference. KU will likely play better opponents in their tournaments earlier on than the Big 10 will.

Would take.
Time out! Easy to say TODAY Illinois may be a 1 seed.
Let me know what they are after they lose their next two games - to Michigan on the road and Ohio State on the road - and then don't win the Big 10 Tournament.
Fuck Illinois!
Hey shit for brains - Nice call on the Illness losing to Michigan. Any other brilliant predictions?

Lost of people pushing Florida State over KU after a 30 point win by the Noles against a 4 win team. KU now a 4 most of the time while Florida State is a 3.

Cool...?

The seeding is so messed up anyway. Match-ups. If shooting improves I see some 1988 action. The Big 8 was pretty much like the 12 is in 2021. Deep. It was humbling and made them work harder.

After thinking about it, I’m more bullish on this team at this point going into the postseason, than I was in 2019 or 2014 or maybe even 2015 too.

Momentum is up while momentum in all those other teams was down.
2019 was a shit show with Vick and Dok out and Charlie Moore seemingly getting worse and Quentin Grimes not improving.
2014 Embiid.
2015 Wichita State was ranked like 17th in Kenpom but was a 7 seed and Perry was busted. I didn't like our chances.

Yeah.

And this team plays harder, and responds better to taking a punch, than any of those teams did.

2015 burned. Accurate seeding would have probably gotten KU to the next round. Would not mind seeing an automated tourney selection to avoid some intentional matchup traps. WSU should have been a week two test.

Well, 2015 had a very good moment late in the year ( that I recall, because I was there ).
But it was the game where Perry got hurt. 18 points down in the 2nd.

"Frank Mason III scored the final six points of overtime, and the Jayhawks clinched their 11th straight Big 12 regular-season championship with a 76-69 victory Tuesday night. They missed matching the biggest comeback in the 60-year history of Allen Fieldhouse by just one point.

"We haven't had a better win here for higher stakes than what that was," an exhausted Self said postgame. "As a coach, when you have good players and you play well, you should win. But it always means a little more when you can't get anything going and somehow the kids figure out a way to do it. It was pretty special for me to sit there and watch those guys pull it off."

Of note, in 2015, the NCAA cancelled Cliff, who never lived up to the recruiting hype, but was still a guy averaging 17 mpg and shooting 56% from the field.

7 ppg and 5 rpg. He was just too overhyped, but a solid big. 5th leading scorer on that 2015 team.

Just saw that. Good for him. I wonder what Korea pay is? Maybe $100K for the year..?

I know it's not like what Langford was making in Europe which is why he never came back to US. He was making more in Europe than he would in the NBA.
