Would imagine West Va gets a bye..?

In a round in which Baylor doesn’t get one? Not sure that’s a fair result for Baylor.

They've earned the ability to not have fair outcomes come their way. They fucked this season up so bad.

Big 12 doesn't reseed ( or they haven't ever and I didn't hear they were changing it ).
In 2019, we were the 3 seed and got to play 10th seed WVU in the semi ( who beat 7 OU and 2 Tech on their way to us ).

So, then we'd play TCU.

I think they'd be justifiably furious by having to play a fresh WVU team, coming off having a game themselves.

Did I miss something that said OSU couldn't play? Every place I look has the WV/OSU ready to go for 10:30 Thursday morning. If it's about their appeal, I was under the impression they were playing until told they couldn't. Not the other way around.

I think that is how they are approaching it. They are banned right now(?), have appealed, and plan to play unless appeal is denied.

It's the NCAA, though, so all shenanigans are on the table.

I'd rather play OU at this point - they are on a freefall ( will probably go in loosing 4 of their last 5 ) but are still ranked and high in the metrics.

I think they are a team we can beat and count as a quad 1 win.
I'm not sure TCU would even count as a quad 2 win on a neutral court.

They'll make a ruling at about 11:00 on Thursday morning and cancel the game at halftime.

It's crazy to think that literally one year ago, we were informed the morning of the Big 12 tournament starting that it was canceled.

Or worse, after they already played and tack on another sanction.

This feels a lot like the De Sousa situation where NCAA was like "We aren't saying you can't play him right now, but not saying you can. We'll let you know later." kthxbai

This is an objectively good post, but it brings up very sad memories of last year. Ban?

Morning of KU tournament starting.

I was in a friend's company's suite for the Kansas State Wednesday game. Surreal atmosphere. Free to attend, of course, wouldn't watch that crap otherwise.

Also, OU will be on the second game in two days, we'll be fresh.

I mean, unless you're Baylor and time off is a bad thing.
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

I'm pretty sure there were two games that played the night before - we were set to play the winner, OSU, of one of those games that day - and then it was all cancelled Thursday.

I had it all prepped/set up on my work machine so I could stream it.

OSU and ISU had a great game. Back and forth and I'm pretty sure OSU won on a near buzzer beater.

I still think they could have had a 16 team NCAA tournament in a bubble.

In hindsight, they could have had the whole tournament immediately, pretty much anywhere except NYC. But we didn’t know much then.
