Nowhere To go
Re: Nowhere To go
Ok so what about if their 5 man is manhandling Mitch on the block but can’t stay in front of Jalen on the perimeter?
Re: Nowhere To go
then you run a man to the top of the paint to pull their 5 away from the bucket
you don’t have to feed the post, just the paint

Re: Nowhere To go
if JW is our 5, i’d wager the opposition goes zone (or at least that’s what i’d do to deal with match-up problems)

Re: Nowhere To go
OU planning on guarding Wilson with a chair?
I only came to kick some ass...

Re: Nowhere To go
I dunno.
I just keep going back to that first half against Texas, and how that Jalen at the 5 lineup yielded the best ball movement of the year - and points off turnovers too!

Re: Nowhere To go
how’d that lineup do scoring the half court?
i honestly don’t remember
ball movement is great so long as you do something with it ( )
Re: Nowhere To go
yeah, that’s why we recruited Dick.
But for real, how am I the only one who remembers going small and being up as many as 14 on the horns?!

Re: Nowhere To go
because we went small in the second half and blew the lead.

Re: Nowhere To go
I'm guessing we go small ~15 minutes against OU.
I hope we play well.
When we focus on rebounding, and early possession post defense, those small lineups tend to do well.

Re: Nowhere To go
Does anyone happen to have the rotations in that second half?
Cuz I remember slowly pissing away our lead, but mostly cuz we went cold offensively again.
I don’t remember exactly what lineup/s were in. But generally, it just seems going small is a more energetic lineup than trying to go through the post
Re: Nowhere To go
I think going small brings up your energy.

Re: Nowhere To go
it also generally means your taking more, lower percentage shots
Re: Nowhere To go
The lead was still 9 when DMac left with about 14 min left in 2nd.ousdahl wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 4:48 pmDoes anyone happen to have the rotations in that second half?

Lost the lead after that.
Re: Nowhere To go
Does anyone know if they tested positive or is this just some contact tracing BS?

And what lineup was in down the stretch that could never re-establish a lead?

Is that the real policy?CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 5:10 pmKU/Self declined to answer that question.
Doesn't really matter as either way they need 7 straight negative tests and then they're good to go.
Cuz can’t you still test positive for weeks even after you’re not contagious?
And what to do with a false positive?

That's the policy the NCAA set in order to be eligible to play in the NCAAT.ousdahl wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 5:13 pmIs that the real policy?CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 5:10 pmKU/Self declined to answer that question.
