OK, can someone please tell me about this? It looked like a regular foul. Was a flagrant at all warranted? Did he hit him in the head? No one in the stands could figure out what they could have called it for.

It's another example of weakening the sport and making it non contact.

Apparently the rules now are, if you 'come down' with your arms at all, and they hit someone's head/face, it's an auto flagrant.

Since 2012/13 I think, when the hand checking thing became a focus, it's focused basketball on skill/finesse and less on physicality.

At his size, if he was an "above the rim player", who averaged 20/10 at Memphis his sophomore year, he wouldn't even be in college anymore.
