Today is the first day in 2021 that I have felt the need to put on my air-conditioning.
Here's to many more!
Spring is in the air and I couldn't be happier about that.
Unfortunately I have a bad feeling I may see snow again before I see 70 degree temperatures.

Bring it on!

Maybe we can even get out of drought conditions by this summer, so that tourists can have campfires?

Trick question! Campfires will be had regardless. Who cares about burning down half the state, the important thing is y’all’s vacation.

Less than 48 hours ago the weather.com forecast for 8:00am and most of today = rain.

Current Conditions.....
47 degrees
Partly cloudy (I would say it's mostly sunny)
1% chance of rain through 9 am.

Forecast for the rest of the day....
https://weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/ ... f062217180

Fricking Wally should get a job working for weather.com - Not only could he be wrong most of the time but he could/would get paid for it too.

We are sitting in Lakewood CO right now. We might get 12 inches of snow, we might get 30 Inches of snow. The weather reports are all over the place. We will get a container dropped off this morning to pack our belongings for moving to the Springs. We just need to keep a path shoveled from our garage to the container for the next two days. After that it's the moving companies problem to get it the fuck out of here on Tuesday. We think things will be back to normal by then. On Tuesday I will drive a couple hundred miles to the southwest to the SLV. We are looking at 1-2 inches of snow down there. It would be interesting to sit and watch 30 inches of snow drop in 48 hours, but I would be happier doing that on a different weekend.

The further south I go, the less snow. La Veta Pass should be fine if Poncha looks bad.

So on my way to work this morning, it’s dark and snowing.

Suddenly yall’s big suburban is right on my ass. I didn’t see it until it was right on my ass cuz it’s dark and snowing, and they got a white car with no lights on. Good look when it’s snowing.

I slow down to navigate a notorious downhill curve. The kind of stretch with crosses along the road put up by loved ones as memorials to accident victims. Dude rides my ass even closer.

Suddenly he guns it and passes me on the right. Gives me the finger as he’s doing like 90 mph down a snowy shoulder. How are you the one driving like a moron yet I get the finger? For your sake, I hope you don’t end up on your roof in the ditch, with your loved ones soon putting up a cross for you too.

Either way, not a good start to my offseason.
