And it’s more accurate to state that the reason for suspending the A-Z vax for now is because of fear and not because it’s causing any adverse reactions. There has also not been a casual link found between the A-Z vax and clotting issues.

There have, however, been several studies linking clotting issues with COVID-19.

I'd be curious to know by who. Have not seen anyone come out and say there is a causal link. Temporarily suspension to look into it is something different.

CnB beat me to the response. The link is not between the vaccine and thrombosis. The link is between clotting and the infection itself. A lot of the suspensions (that’s the correct term, not ban) are due to short supply although perceived adverse events are a convenience.

From today:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2 ... pdates-us/
An expert panel is investigating the potential link between vaccinations and a small number of extremely rare brain clots, and it is slated to release its conclusions Thursday, Emer Cooke, the agency’s executive director, said at a news conference. There was “no indication” that the vaccine caused the adverse events, which seemed not to be higher in vaccinated people than in the general population, Cooke said.

“But this is a serious concern,” she added, “and it does need serious, detailed scientific evaluation.”

Weapons-grade dumb.

One, even for relatively young and healthy people, the risks associated with Covid (even just missing work for a week or two) far outweigh the risks of the vaccine.

Two - and I know this is a hard one for you - young, healthy people that get Covid are highly-efficient spreaders to others.

None of this has ever been about you, or any one of us.

That's not true. We have tens of millions of doses that we are just sitting on. We should sell them or give them to under-developed countries.

3. Lots of healthy people who never had symptoms are later finding that they have lung damage, glassy-like spots on an x-ray, and reduced lung capacity.

Anecdotal, but several of my students 19-22 year olds lost taste and smell. Another girl, who was a former multi-time state champion in track, was hit very hard was down several weeks, and had to go to a pulmonary specialist.

I now know more students who've received the vaccine than had the virus, and none have had complications. I had several who had fairly severe, and to me, scary complications from covid.

The math tells you pretty unequivocally that the right move...even from a purely selfish Mich-y kinda standpoint, that the right move is to get vaccinated....and it's not even close.

Yeah every day is a blessing. Don't take it for granted. Thankfully we have vaccines to protect us and prolong our lives. Good thing the covid vaccines are so safe. Smart decision.

Full disclosure, this was based off the work of academics who provide nothing worthwhile and whose work was published in a journal article, which no one reads.
