They don’t like him. Signed Gordon and then a new RB to a multi year deal.

Lindsey a damn good back. Especially being an undrafted guy.

Someone will sign him and be happy.

Which is what I don't get. Good player and hometown kid. Great for PR.

He has been banged up over his tenure as a Bronco but yeah, Denver East kid, CU, and then undrafted to star in his hometown is almost like a movie.

He did get a bit busted this year.
But previous he played in almost every game - and recorded 2 1,000 yard seasons.
Still at 4.8 YPC, someone will get a good 1b type of back on their roster.

As a Chiefs fan, i endorse Denver’s decision. Lindsey ran harder than any back they have had. The kid was determined and effective. Had to go.

Chiefs can focus on need now in the draft. OT/DL/LB. I still think a WR is going to be available non-drafted that makes the team. I still want Pooka too.

Remmers back.

So he and Niang compete for RT.
LDT and Long for guard.
Allegretti center?
Thuney guard.
LT?

LDT or Long solid backup.
Remmers or Niang solid backup.

Unless I'm missing something and they are gonna play one of those at LT.

I, as well as many others, thought the Chiefs would regret taking Mahomes over Watson.

I hope that we are not in the midst of a really rough patch for Watson.

Damn, I mean if this is true then fuck Watson, but how you throw away your money like this. Dude would've pocketed $300-500 mil. Dude is still playing on his rookie contract.

What's the chances this ends Watson's career? I mean, isn't it possible the NFL suspends him and then he faces criminal charges?

Not trying to presume guilt here, but isn't this entirely possible? Considering the current climate (and the NFL's very poor track record) I think the NFL will act faster than usual on this on.

This lawyer causing all kinds of havoc for Watson.

"We actually had contact with Deshaun Watson's agent/lawyer from Los Angeles, who minimized these allegations, who did not take them seriously," Buzbee said. "We wanted to resolve this matter without a lawsuit, without any publicity. We knew that once we filed a lawsuit -- Texas, of course, has an open courts provision in the constitution, so all lawsuits are public. We wanted to avoid that."

So Watson apparently he rejected "a baseless six-figure settlement demand"

And then Buzbee started dropping bombs on him.

Can't trust a lawyer. I think CnB or Fish said it. A public figure loses the freedom to be profligate in 2021. No matter what, the allegations will be lurid and the settlement high.
