Krutwig has controlled this game like Nikola Jokić.

Illinois had a tough road.

Loyola very much a F4 contender.

I think a graphic had they were the #1 defense in all of D1. That's always going to be a tough out.

The toughest of the 1 seeds. But man, they struggled today. Frustrated from the getgo.

Yep just saw that too. And he’ll play. And be a huge help. Just need him for length.

That a testament to Loyola. They came out there and enforced their style of game from the tip.

Can obviously see now that Loyola should have been more around a 4/5 seed. Some had Oklahoma State projected as a 2 seed. And then on the other side you had Houston and WVU, both more than capable of beating Illinois.

Gonzaga and Baylor were heads and shoulders above the rest of the country throughout the season, so I guess it is fair that they stacked the other 2 brackets.

Looking ahead, Loyola would get either Oregon State or Oklahoma State in the S16, both I think Loyola can beat. Then you're looking at a likely Houston or WVU to get back to the FF. WVU would be a tougher match up I think (I don't think they would handle the press as well) but Houston would be a good match up for Loyola.

He was on ESPNU Radio the other day and they talked to him about the Indiana job; he said he wants to turn Loyola into the Gonzaga of the Midwest...I know it's what he's supposed to say, but he's a Illinois-guy, born-and-raised; maybe this is just the place for him (and his family).

Doesn't help that IU has to be one of the toughest jobs in the sport.

True. But Google says he's making about $1mm right now at Loyola. I demand $4mm at IU over at least 4 years. I take the money and try to be a legend compared to try and keep Loyola Chicago relevant.

There used be a short athletic director at school in the MVC who fired Moser.

Granted, Moser was not good at Illinois State, but just add it to the Dr.'s list.

If I'm Texas I'm firing Shaka and going all in on Moser (or Nate Oats).

I think it is strange that Iowa State didn't even at least try for Moser (that we know of).

Could’ve been a nice fit at Iowa State too.

I think Indiana should at least talk to the guy...
