But maybe Gonzaga isn’t simply benefiting from the shortcomings of the traditional blue bloods. At the same time in history, Bill's conference streak was longer in an embarrassingly better conference.

Since 2010, Gonzaga has been a 7 seed, an 8 seed twice, and an 11 seed twice. That would get Bill fired.

Bill has one more Final Four since 2010.

Ok, but are we talking about right now, this season, or past seasons and future seasons?
As far as playing cupcake games (or tough steak games) during the season, I look at the most recent SOS and notice how playing a tough schedule doesn't mean jack shit once the tournament starts.
