I mean, I get it a bit what she is saying. She's frustrated. Everyone that is in the bubble is.

They've been quarantined from everything for 2 weeks. They go from room, to ballroom to eat, to back to room, to the court for practice. They're not out and about.

It's still very idiotic to say that though.

They wanted to play, and they are getting to play, during a pandemic. Can't miss the forest for the trees.

I feel like this is not the first or second time that Mulkey has made headlines for saying something idiotic.

they knew what they were getting into...both as far as being bubbled goes, and mire directly as far as the testing regime and fall-out from positive tests go

they “agreed” to the requirements and expectations

First time watching womens basketball in awhile. Mulkey looks like a psycho.

Also, Paige Bueckers might be my new favorite player. That girl can hoop!

Should be noted that Baylor won't even be playing in the Final Four, so this really feels like some "COVID is BS" parting shot by someone that seems to like to express controversial and idiotic opinions.

We have to go all the way back to 1 whole year ago to know what it is like to not have a Tournament and Final Four. How is this, even with all the precautions, not infinitely better than last season?

They really are. They’ll beat any team left by 10.

If we just entertain that thought, that the zags aren’t gonna stub their toe at some point - does going undefeated count as going undefeated if you don’t play a full schedule?

Not a bad question but they will have gone 32-0. To me, that's good enough to "count".
It will be as many (if not more) wins as all the other teams what went undefeated had.

1975-76 Indiana 32-0
1972-73 UCLA 30-0
1971-72 UCLA 30-0
1966-67 UCLA 30-0
1963-64 UCLA 30-0
1956-57 North Carolina 32-0
1955-56 San Francisco 29-0

Crazy probably dumb question. If the ref who collapsed ends up testing positive for the virus, do the Zags have to forfeit the semi final game on Saturday due to "contact tracing"?

Damn, I was really hoping it would be USC's year. Anyone but Gonzaga....

This tournament has been littered with garbage offensive performances.

51 points gets you to the Final Four? Gross.

UCLA's coach will get a nice bonus, even though their team is average. Reminds me of Syracuse when they made the F4. Oh well, this year didn't really count for most programs. Gonzaga is the only team that has proven they are in a league of their own.

Maybe I'm reaching too much here, but I think a portion of the bad offense can be attributed to the disproportionate amount of charge calls to blocking fouls. The 3 has obviously been a big change in recent years, but combine that with a player being called for a charge every time they drive and a defender goes down. Why would they keep trying to get to the hoop?
