It is really time-consuming for baseball, but the most realistic.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 8:37 am Taking part of first fantasy baseball league. Only picked 2 Royals. Mondesi and Bientendi.
Will be fun, but time consuming for sure.

Fantasy baseball is exhausting. Good luck.
Re: Baseball
I tried it once and realized it was more dedication and attrition than strategic maneuvers and luck.
Was in second or third just because I was constantly adjusting but gave up half way through.

Was offered a ticket (in a great seat) for today's Cubs opener. Had mixed thoughts and feelings. Decided not to take it. I think I would be comfortable in regards to Covid but the forecasted 34 degree temperature with 18 mph wind/s made me feel it just wouldn't be too enjoyable to sit outside for a baseball game today. God (if there is a God) willing there will be more opportunities to attend games on nicer days.

It's only April 2nd and I have a worthless prediction.
If the Flubs and White Sux lose their next game they are probably not going to make the playoffs.
Only positive I would take from that is the ticket re-seller scumbags would suffer.

Good for baseball.
Heard this morning on a podcast how difficult it would be to move cities because of the 3-4 year planning with convention centers, hotels and all that.

Probably not a large crowd turnout this year, anyway. Though I suppose the CDC announcement today may change that.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:16 pm Good for baseball.

But, of course, sometimes you have to do hard, costly things to live with yourself and for your fans.

So now that NBA/NFL/MLB needs to be boycotted, does that just leave NHL?
Re: Baseball
Most major sporting events already have contingency plans in place, with backup locations. Think hurricane/earthquake and the like. MLB already put plans in motion for a couple of days most likely.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:16 pm Good for baseball.
