6th straight game with 1 extra base hit or less. Hasn’t happened since like 86. And still 5-4

Keller looking great today, even when he got into trouble he looked comfortable getting out of it. 4 Scoreless so far.

Also, Salvy with 7 hits already this series, and still some more ABs coming.

Salvy as locked in as ever at the plate.

Benintendi with a nice today at the plate too.

But Michael Taylor seems like the FA steal of the offseason. He's been incredible in every facet.

Also, Keller looking really good today. Quite a few strikes thrown and has a K per inning. Not bad.

Book closed on Keller, 5.2, 1 ER, 4 H, 5 K, 1 BB. Hell of a day.

Also cut his ERA from 19.29 to 9.58

Hit number 8 in the series is a double to give an insurance run late.

Some stupid reason, I'm more excited to see Dyson try to get a steal than Santana getting that bomb. I love Dyson on the pads. Fun to watch.

Lineup to start the year has been good without a key guy in the middle of it.

Granted, 0-3 today, but Ohtani is like one of those create-a-players on MLB The Show. You're sitting there and thinking, yeah, I should challenge myself and not put all of these attributes at 99, but fuck it, let's have some fun.

I love Ohtani's game. But man, would he be a better NL player because you don't need double switches and he's an actual bat instead of an easy out, or a better AL player because he can play every day, and is one less roster spot (Every day DH) that is needed. He's such a paradox for my mind.

How many times do you see an outfield assist for a lead runner at second on a single? I don't know if I've ever seen that.

Nice series win. 6-4 to start the year. Nice to actually start well in April and not suck. Have to continue it one week at a time. Especially May. That's when they always seem to falter.

Ha! I was bitching during Monday’s game that they needed serious ass chewing. Maybe they were roundly chastised.
