hammered by snow/ice mix today...I80 coming out of the mouth of Parley’s Canyon was a mess, with cars and semis off the road

kinda felt bad for all the little front-wheel drive civic-types. they slowed down too much and lost their momentum...then were just spinning their wheels and holding up traffic

the intersection where I80 comes out of the canyon and meets the 215 loop is right between home and work for me, so it’s always extra interesting what the weather does to traffic there
