Alex Smith documentary
Alex Smith documentary
My Lord that leg was gruesome about 4 or 5 days after the injury.
Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

He's a real trooper...that was awful.

Re: Alex Smith documentary
That he’s able to just walk again is a minor miracle. That was bad. Really bad.

Re: Alex Smith documentary
His talent might not stack up to his 1-1 pick across history, but his character does. KC owes Alex Smith a lot. Got lucky with him.
Re: Alex Smith documentary
I was upset when he was traded.
Guy was undersold as a QB but now obviously Mahomes is a generational talent.
Hope he recovers fully and if he wants to, plays more football.

Re: Alex Smith documentary
History will be kind to Smith for his tenure in KC. Not only for play on the field but the leadership and stability he provided to a franchise that was near rock bottom.
His knock was that he just couldn’t win big games and of course Mahomes was going to be next level.

Re: Alex Smith documentary
Alex Smith will probably go down as the greatest ‘game manager QB’ in NFL history. While that’s an odd distinction, it’s still an incredible accomplishment.
And, by all accounts, he seems like a fabulous human being.
Not a bad combination

Re: Alex Smith documentary
The documentary only reinforced what I'd already thought: Alex Smith is exactly the type of guy that I'd love marrying one of my daughters. Humble, intelligent, hard-working, internally-driven, and wildly, wildly wealthy.
Re: Alex Smith documentary
What a tough documentary to watch. Man. Alex is a great person. I think he might have won a SB if not for some weird calls and luck. The Theisman curse is real.

Notice the t-shirt in the first clip. And what a great dude.

Would love to see him on staff in KC

He deserves better weather, but whatever keeps him from joining Urban Meyer is good IMO.
Re: Alex Smith documentary
I liked Alex as a "game manger", but lets face it he wasn't a Super Bowl QB.
