Tyty Washington
Re: Tyty Washington
Does/will Joe Yesufu play more on or off the ball?

I feel worse about our chances than i did a week ago.twocoach wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 10:16 am So, TyTy Washington... we haven't seen any sort of announcement about his time frame for making a decision, correct? And we generally feel like Kansas is in a much better place with him than we did a week ago, correct?
It's pretty clear that Self wants to hand him the keys and install him as a starter from Day One on a team that seems on paper to be a very competitive team, especially if one or both of Agbaji and Wilson come back. Am I correct that the deadline to withdraw from the draft is July 19th? Man, that's a long time to wait for news on Agbaji and Wilson.
Just Ledoux it
Re: Tyty Washington
Off the ball when harris is in, on the ball whn harris is out. Id guess he runs the point most often by conference season. Been wrong before though.

Yeah, it’ll be interesting.
Even if we don’t get TyTy, gotta figure one of Kyle or Bobby will prob be shirting?
But generally, I like how Self is stockpiling guards
Re: Tyty Washington
Good point.
So the question then becomes, how much is a 4 star top 100ish guard gonna be ready to contribute

It's ESPN, so take it for what it's worth, but they have TyTy going 13th in the '22 NBA Draft.

I think he is anywhere from the best PG in the class to a healthy more PG-y Josh Selby.kubowler99 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 11:31 am It's ESPN, so take it for what it's worth, but they have TyTy going 13th in the '22 NBA Draft.

So, yeah, a first round talent that would seem to be exactly what we need.

Gotcha. Was wondering if you had seen something about Cuffe ("top 100ish guard") jumping in the rankings.

Although, i am more excited for cuffe than some. We wanted to get more athletic in the backcourt, hes got that.

Re: Tyty Washington
I like Cuffe. Needs a lot more polish to be a starter but will be great in transition and will be a lethal defender right away. That will be a good different dimension off the bench. Definitely think he can be more of a positive contributor than Thompson was.TDub wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 11:56 amNo, maybe i misread ous intent.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 11:51 amGotcha.
