And to a lesser extent, Biden's.

That's not how appeals really work. You need to attack the procedural aspects, not the facts. If it does come to a procedural thing, then the thing gets retried. Yes, there will be appeals, as any good attorney should use every bullet in the gun to protect their clients. However, this was a fairly straight forward case, with very straight forward evidence.
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
That is what she was trying to do.
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
procedural thing == bullshit technicality appeal
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
Lol, if you think some random congresswoman from California is going to hold weight, especially when jurors are supposed to be avoiding the news anyway, then no case can ever stand. This was a high-profile case. That sort of outside influence is already built into the system. It's not grounds for appeal.

Almost always a point of error to raise. Raise, but not grant new trial.
Supposedly the Judge gave them the Maxine point yesterday after the mistrial denial. Frickin police union will definitely brief that one up.

Re: Would you be on the Jury?
No, there will be appeals. There will be appeals in hours after a verdict if it's guilty. That's just how the system works. There will be appeals for months if not years.
But there will be no successful appeals.
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
Too late.
I was arguing appeals and not successful appeals.
