i’ve got a handful of memories from when i was maybe 3 or 4, living in South Dakota
1) a distinct memory of a wooden airplane mobile that hung above the bunk bed of a friend whose house i’d stay at
2) my pops stopping on the side of the road to put snow chains on the old chevy truck we had
3) a big old black cat we had and building a “barn” from the ground up...seemed huge as a kid, but having seen it when i was older, i realized it was really just a big garage
