Okay. Please provide a link to where a Democratic majority in a legislature, in a lame duck session, altered the powers of the executive branch of a state government after a Republican was elected Governor.

ummm...the entire article is a list of such efforts -- from appointment powers to redistricting powers, etc.

The fact that they're not exact precedents for what has happened in Wisconsin doesn't change the fact that this has been the practice in some states at some times for years.

Of course, the practice is stupid and venal, but that doesn't mean that it lives up to the hype. It's not “the greatest threat to the American republic since Appomattox.”
