We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago

This should be good.
Can't wait to see/hear the pubs who say they will endorse her - and those who say they won't.

Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
much like the rumblings of McConaughey running in tejas, i’m left wondering whether these instances are more like kanye’s presidential “run”, or Schwartzenegger’s and Ventura’s gubernatorial runs
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
tangentially, why is it “gubernatorial”?
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
Mid 18th century: from Latin gubernator ‘governor’ (from gubernare ‘steer, govern’, from Greek kubernan ‘to steer’) + -ial.

Where’s this one go?
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
Despite plenty of negatives, I would choose to live in California WAY before I would choose to live in most if not every other state in this country. BUT...... I would probably vote for you for Governor of California before I would vote for her.MICHHAWK wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 1:20 pmcaitlyn jenner is perfect for california. match made in heaven.MJ23 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 3:56 pm This should be good.

May I ask why it seems you have an obsession with bashing California?
Is it based on politics or something else?
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
mich only really likes states whose residents plot to kidnap their governor

My experience is that most people that claim to hate California simply can't afford to live there

Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
That’s not entirely true. I think California largely sucks (definitely some good spots) but I’d still prefer it over 40ish statesOverlander wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 4:58 pm My experience is that most people that claim to hate California simply can't afford to live there
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
I know we all have different experiences so I don't doubt you but obviously it's a big state with many places to live. Some EXTREMELY expensive. Some very affordable.Overlander wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 4:58 pm My experience is that most people that claim to hate California simply can't afford to live there

I hate people from "the bay area". Otherwise CA seems great.
